Was there a new patch or something?

Two things: 1) on tiles which have fallout from a nuclear attack, I've noticed that you have to order the worker to "scrub" the radiation away to get the tile back to normal, in addition to repairing it to an un-pillaged state. Was this just added in, or was it always there and I just never noticed? 2) This one I know is new. Keshiks have ALWAYS had a 25% penalty against cities. Except, in my current game, they have no penalty against cities from the get-go; no promotions, wonders, policies, nothing but bare bones keshik. These are just what I've noticed, I'm a little curious as to whats going on. Thanks in advance, and please post anything you've noticed, too.

Just one word: plast... no

Fallout has always had to be scrubbed, AFAIK.

There is nothing in any of the patch notes about the Keshik, and I can't find anything to indicate that they ever had a city attack penalty.

1) has always been that way as far as I know. As for 2), I don't know anything about keshiks so I cant answer that one.

I have, however, been wondering if there has been a stealth patch recently as well. Over the past few weeks I have started a few games as the ottomans with the intention of trying out the fleet-promotions strategy. The last time I tried, it seemed like their UA got buffed to not suck anymore. The barbarian navel unit conversion happened instantly instead of at the end of the turn, which was really nice since when it failed you could still the the first shot on the unconverted unit. Maybe I wasn't doing it right before, but I think it was actually changed. If the ottoman UA was fixed, I feel confidant saying that there are no longer any civs in the game that are underpowered anymore.

Hmm, I do recall them having it. I used to get the siege promotion to counteract, but now I skip that step to beeline more valuable promotions. IDK, maybe I just imagined the penalty. I don't THINK I did, but I could be wrong.

They used to have a penalty. I haven't played with them in a while so I can't check if that penalty is gone.

This thread discusses the surprising lack of Keshik city attack penalty, given that all other mounted and archer units have it. The Civilopedia lists unit promotions, and you can see in the entires for other mounted and archer units that they do have a penalty attacking cities (either 25% or 33%). However, the Keshik does not.

Huh, well, thanks for clearing that up. Need to quit playing this at one in the morning, I guess...
