Whew, finally done. :) Here's the first weapons pack. There are 18 weapons in total - 5 hammers, 5 axes, 4 swords, 2 spears and 2 halberds. Take note that some of the weapons share a texture, in such cases they are both in the same folder. Also, these weapons don't support team color as I've yet to figure it out.

Just to clarify, these are only the weapons, no units here. In order to use these you'll need to attach them to the units using the NIF viewer. For instructions on how to do it check out the NIF viewer tutorial in my sig.

Hammers download
Stoneking, Pounder, Luthor's Hammer, Valten's Hammer and Brassking

Axes download
Heavy Axe, Bonesplitter, Vampire Axe, Drake Axe and Stone Axe

Really great Rabbit

I think I'm gonna spend my Sunday afternoon playing with the NIF Viewer ;)

Nice graphics. But most are way, way too big. I very much dislike 2000kg hammers. Fantasy doesn't have to use 10x-100x times as heavy weapons. Yes maybe it would fit on some super strong demon or something but a normal human swinging a 2ton club? Why doesnt such human use some 10 meter long sword instead with same weight? Or throw boulders hundreds of meters. :p But I guess it's easy to just rezie them. Hopefully not all will use them in mods at this size.

You're kinda right but I think you'll agree the swords and the axes have more or less right proportions. As for hammers, well I used warhammer units as reference and they of course are exaggerated, but like you say they can be resized to something more normal. Thing is though, if you look at real hammers that were used in medieval times you'll find that they were small and very boring and in fact there aren't many that were used for combat, because they were so heavy. If I were to stick to realistic proportions for hammers, they would have such small heads that most of them would look the same. So anyway, you can call it artistic license :D

Well the swords and axes are too big too but not as much, just 1.5x or something :p. Too many think Final Fantasy and Warhammer is cool. I was very happy Lord of the Rings movies had normal sized weapons that you can actually use in real.

i actually thought you resized the weapons for the screenshots only ;)

Thank you so muchfor doing the hammers, the "orcblade" which is perfect cathay sword btw ;) and the halberds (i use a modified one as naginata :P )
and by rescaling and transparence them, one can actually produce more different variants of one ;)
