weird hair and facial hair bug with leaders

i've been having trouble with the leaders on their leader screens, for some odd reason, their hair and facial hair is all shiny and brightly coloured. I've tried re-installing the game but it hasn't fixed my problem.
Does someone else have this problem?
Is there a simple fix that I'm not seeing? I've tested it on all leader graphics settings. (disabling animated leaders fixes it obviously because theyre still images of the leaders)

I had that problem when I had shadows turned off.

I'm having the same issue, even if I turn animation quality to high. My graphics card is a 2gb NVIDIA that should be more than ok according to the recommended specs for this game.

I also have the same issue. Hope we get some solutions or advice at least. My suspicion is it's a DX 11 issue of some sort. Never had these issues with Civ V leaders in DX 9 (but I did in DX 11 if I recall).

I turned on shadows and it got solved, so the glitch is clearly related to the shadows being off.

Normally the hair has shadows as part of the design, so when you turn them off, it leaves the hair looking like that. Without the shadows, there is no depth or texture to the hair, so turning them on should fix the problem. I had the same issue when I started playing as well.

I tried it but, no luck Can anyone help me fix an issue like this?
