WenChuan earthquake in China

14:28,May 12th,2008, an earthquake with 7.8 magnitude occurred in WenChuan country of SiChuan province of China. Provinces of ChongQing, HuNan, HuBei, shānXi, ShǎnXi,HeBei,BeiJing and ShangHai all felt the quake.
The quake killed 8533 in WenChuan, 323 in Chengdu, 88 in ShǎnXi by the time of 22:20 May 12th.Our Premier WenJiaBao is now at WenChuan.

I don't know what this has to do with the news, I was merely pondering the question that if certain people were on a rather violent roller coaster they may not have noticed?
