I drive the pizza delivery car , which seriously sucks these days since its non-stop snowing... Not a very perspective job, but then again it`s better than unemployment (I disagree actually, but my wife made me do it, hehe)
 
What problems? He looked fine in the previews (cept that size issue).
Oh and Gomurr, I`ve just read the article on BP, and it seems that Dolgans are like WH Huns, then Dolgany would be WH Hungary? So the Hun unit could find its place in the BP too? And there is also that princedom called Moldovia or something, that would be WH Moldavia, so then they are WH Slavs, which means the early cavalry unit should be the slavic horseman, not the CIV3 one.
EDIt: I`ve read a WH timeline somewhere... the Dolgans are not WH Huns, Ungols are... Utilla of Ungols mentioned... Why are Dolgans in the mod anyway!? They are not even mentioned in the timeline! Also, still waiting on that changes list - did you make ancient tilea like the Remean empire? That would be awesome. And there are human native New Worlders! I didn`t know that. Like all of the Native Americans!
 
having some problems with the resizings of the gnoblars. all of the frames are different sizes, so it is difficult to get the gnoblar in each flic (attack, default etc.) to be the same size.
Increase the frame size so all have the same size before shrinking.
 
LR, look! Someone that isn`t Gomurr or one of us posted in the thread! Woohoo!
Mrtn, I think he fixed that, but he is now having some in-game problems, the unit freezes his computer. I bet the machine just stops and drools when it sees the unit, and doesn`t let LR play :)
 
btw, welcome mrtn!

i re-exported all the flics (and all that jazz) and, halleluiah!, it works! the sound i so arrogantly promoted yesterday does not like Civ, so it doesn't work. But yay!

@Gomurr: should I try to make this guy throw stuff, or should the gnoblar scrapper be the "archer" unit?

I dunno, the default looks taller, but then again when you fight you try to make yourself a smaller target.. keep your head down and such, especially behind a shield...

Well, while the unit list is certainly workable, we don't have a large number of the proposed units, nor the means to get them. I'm really only intent on working with what's available, since I'm unwilling to pester aaglo until he makes a Tyrant, and am not going to just wait and hope someone makes other unit requests.

K, first off, don't take that time line too seriously. It's not official, it's not part of Warhammer canon (at least as far as I'm aware), and it's contradicted by Warhammer canon several times. It's just a very direct parody of Earth's history in a Warhammer-ish style. Things like the existence of human tribes in the New World is never mentioned in official WH histories, and as far as I'm concerned, is not something to be included in the WH mod.

Second, in a post I just made in the WH-Mod discussion thread, I questioned the existence of the Dolgans as a civ. I had previously assumed they were there to represent the Chaos people of the Kurgan, of which they are but a tribe. The Dolgans alone, however, don't really deserve a civ in my opinion. As for the Hun unit for the BP, I'd say no. The only remnants of their Dolgan ways that Dolgany seems to possess is the language and their affinity for fast cavalry.

And as for a list of changes, my humble apologies, but I haven't had a chance to really catalogue what I've changed. I'd started trying to find the actual names of the units I added for Estalia but that got delayed by excessive amounts of work, and then this week I'm not by my normal computer so I couldn't really list what I've done as I don't have what I've done to reference. As for Tilea, I'm not completely finished with my changes to it, but yes, I did give them a number of Roman units for their Ancient Age to represent the early power of Remas.

If you can add a throwing animation to the Gnoblar Fighter, I would strongly recommend it. The Gnoblar unit isn't going to be much use to the Ogres, but if they have a defensive bombard, a small horde of Gnoblars being stacked with your Ogres will make them useful for softening up attackers before the Ogre has to defend itself (useful, considering that Ogres will probably be a rather expensive unit and the OK won't have huge numbers of them). I'd initially thought of the Scrapper as serving just as the Fanatic currently serves the other greenskins - though using it as early Artillery might work better, since the Ogres probably won't be in need of an exclusive attacker. But either way, it'd be best for the Fighter to have a throwing animation if possible.

And for the record, it's Thanksgiving in the U.S. I'm home visiting my family and old friends from high school, and away from my girlfriend, who is home visiting hers. So instead of having to spend time with one GF, I've got 2 grandparents, 2 parents, 3 siblings, 22 aunts and uncles, 27 cousins and a handful of old friends all insisting I spend time with them, hence my lack of posting.
 
Oh, I don`t want the Native American-like civs in the mod, I was just really surprised, I thought the New world was "empty" cept the Lizardmen, and until Naggaroth, Skegi, etc. appeared.

About the List, it`s OK, no need for apologies, I should be the one apologising, it was kinda rude of me to "remind" you like that, it`s not like you have an obligation or something.. sorry..
