eBay. eBay is your friend. And other places.. Battlewagon-bits.com sells boxed sets for a discount. And Plastic Bits.

But yeah. an army will cost you like.. two to three hundred bucks. And I have two. (My 40K orks and my not 40K dorfs).

Did I say that I expanded my dorfs to a full army?

Oh, LMR, I did infact decide to make them from Karak-Hirn. That means no Ironbreakers. Oh well.

I don`t play the board games cos:

a)I`m clumsy, and would paint them horribly
b)there aren`t enough cool people who do that kinda stuff around here. Mostly dorks. Small country - more separation. Never met an intelligent football player in RL, either. And I know lots. Or a blonde with an IQ higher than the room temperature. Small countries - stereotypes all over the place!
c)everything thats expensive in you country? its triple here.

Here`s a new one: Colossal Constructs!

sounds good. still waiting on that pic too :)

Both the Ushabti and the Pyramids are types of Burial Monuments. Does that make sense?

colossal constructs is the best so far I think :)

I think that is a bit too generic for a civ-specific tech. If other large constructions were available, it would make more sense. And why would it blossom off of Religion?

How about 'Big Magic Stone Stuff'

Well, my Dorfs aren't done yet. Infact, I'm still tweaking the army list.

At the moment, it looks something like this
(2150 points)

General: Thane
Lord: Runelord
Hero: Master Engineer
Hero: Master Engineer

Core: 20 Warriors with hand weapons and shields
Core: 20 Warriors with hand weapons and shields
Core: 20 Longbeards with Hand Weapons and shields
Core: 10 Thunderers
Core: 10 Thunderers
Core: 10 Thunderers
Core: 10 Thunderers
Speical: Cannon
Special: Cannon

I'm still tweak'n it.

@Goldylocs,
A couple of questions/suggestions:
- Slayers?
- Great weapons?
- Have you thought of changing the other cannon to organ gun?
- That's a lot of thunderers :)

Only some, the Ushabti are statues with magical enhanced movement... Burial Monuments sounds like advanced headstones, if you see what I mean.

Why wouldn't it blossom off of Religion? A Pyramid and godlike statues, how more religious can you get?

@Stormrage: Better talk quieter about blonds when aaglo's around. ;)

So, I've just added a new tech to Khemri. It comes after Religion and gives the Black Pyramid and the Ushabti, which has been boosted to 10/7/1. The problem, however, is that the tech is called Colossal Constructs at the moment, and that's as cheesy as you can get...

Does anyone have a better idea for the name?

Sacral Stonecutting?

Playing a game as the Sylvanians. some notes:

* The human spearman can upgrade to the Undead Halberdier, but doesnt upgrade to the Undead Spearman. the Undead Spearman doesnt upgrade to the Undead Halberdier either

* Vampire Lords are awesome

* the Lizardmen declared war on me several times, and except for the first time (which was a wave of skink archers and spearmen), they attacked primarily with Mage-Priests, which seems odd to me. i have only seen one saurus warrior, too

im going pretty well at the moment. estalia got the jump on me at the start. they started on a continent with nippon and chaos, and have about a 100 point lead coz they smashed chaos off the continent before i started my first war, with the orcs.

im looking for a culture victory, my capital drackenhoff has 12,208 culture points, gaining 70 per turn with 144 turns to go

I noticed that Chaos is weak in alot of games. Any changes in 2.5 concerning that? :)

Yah, them Lizzies sure do like their mages.. funky stuff.. Once I get the hang of Poser, I might make a skink-priest, would that go in the mod as the first magic unit for Slann?

@mrtn - I`m just saying, around here.. that can`t concern you nordic people of course

So a statue can't be a monument? I know IRL Ushabtis are really really small, more like dolls and thus can't be called monuments... but these are really really big statues depicting the gods, I personally would call them monuments :D

A monument is a statue, building, or other edifice created to commemorate a person or important event.

Otherwise you can go for Extreme Tomb Makeover!!!!!

Well, sure, a statue can be a construct. But the Ushabti are carved statues, and a construct is something which is constructed from many parts. Look it up in the dictionary if you don't trust me :)
