Not Nessicarily. For me its only 50 pages. Thats ebcause ?I display 40 posts per page.

Mrtn:
Looking good! I would suggest a wash of Chestnut ink and water over the flesh, and msucles to give them even more defintion.

Why wouldn't it blossom off of Religion? A Pyramid and godlike statues, how more religious can you get?

I was referring to the implications of the name. It sounds more like something coming off of Construction, Invention, etc. those types of techs. When you look at Theology it makes sense that it blossoms off of Religion, in the actual concepts captured and the name.

The two items of the tech are more magical than religous, anyway. Isn't the Black Pyramid something Nagash created? And the statues were religous statues until they were animated through powerful magics.

I think it's going to be colossal constructs... since the suggestion pimp my tomb is likely not going to get approval from mrtn :)

So we end up with the name that supposedly was presented to be replaced?

No, it was not presented to be replaced :) - people were given the option to give a better name for it, and since no better name emerged, the original name remains :)

Well, as mmmrrrr hinted above: there's always the option to use the editor yourself before you play the mod and change the name of the advance to something you find more appropriate (like Sacral Stonecutting :p)

We Swedes will always mod the mod :mischief:

mrtn post some more screenshots of the tests please.:religion:
Just as Goldielocks I think it's 50 pages, but anyway. ;)

To celebrate my 8000th post, here's a screenshot from when my Beastmen invaded the other continent, being at war with all other civs. Here are Orcs, Woodelves and Beastmen, fighting over the old Skaven lands. Both the orcs and I have Ogre mercenaries, so there's been some heavy fighting. :)

Mrtn, did you read my suggestion about the inkwash?

By the way, I won't be posting any pictures of my Dorfs for a while; I'm not going to start painting till I get the entire army built, and I have 63 more dwarfs and a cannon to go!

@LMR! Some, as I added most of them quite a long time ago I don't really expect anything unexpected with them. What I've been struggling with now is the dippy (still...) and adding all the miscellaneus units.

@Goldie: Yeah, I saw it. I don't have any inks, though, so that will have to wait. Another pal gave the exact same tip, btw. :)

Okay, just won a cultural victory with the Sylvanians. some notes:

* the vlad von carstein cultural victory pic is great!
* i stayed in monarchy for the whole game. i tested undead state and was crippled with -200+ gold per turn, so i reloaded my game...
* estalia was a superpower in this game, owning two thirds of their continent
* chaos was very weak, and was very lucky to stay in the game as long as they did. this has happened several times in my games, has anyone else experienced this?

thats about it from me :)

Chaos are always among the first to be wiped out in my games too, along with the Slann and Dark Elves. Estalia, Loren & Chaos Dwarves seem to be the dominant AI teams, but the Chaos Dwarves make massive amounts of spellcaster units and sneaky gitz which both die pretty easily without support, so they tend to be easy to conquer by comparison even to smaller 'weaker' civs. Just my two cents.

The Kislevites and Estalia are the ones who stand out for me as dominating teams :o

the dam gobs for whatever reason always become my biggest rival and the kermi normally have huge unstopable armys, but yea the chaos and dark elves are normally weak

The Slann were a problem for me in my game. they controlled a vast empire on the south of the continent, and lots of rivers criss-crossed their lands, so it was hard trying to avoid attacking enemies over a river.

i said in an earlier post that the slann seemed to attack mainly with Mage-Priests. well, when i launched an assault deep into their empire, i found that they had lots of saurus warriors now, quite a few chameleon skinks, and a handful of kroxigors, so it ended up being a nice mix of units... all of which died

In my first game of this mod (a while back), I was on an island with Chaos, and I had a hard-fought war with them - for awhile, I was simply trying to prevent them from taking anything over (they didn't), although eventually I was able to take them over. Although I didn't have too many units when they first attacked me.
