To anyone who is lucky enough to live in a civilized country where BtS came out July 18th and kind enough to help out: What are the NextWar extra technologies and units like?

I'm just dying to know, since an extended, futuristic, tech tree for Civ is something I've always dreamed about (and no, Call to Power or whatever it was called doesn't IMHO count as Civ).

My eternal gratitude to anyone who can help

Screenshots would of course also be a blessing :)

holy crap, those dreadnoughts look absolutely insane. And at the cost of an early wonder you better hope the opponent doesnt get a lucky 10% roll...

Well the interesting thing is they are really like Wonders, you have a limited Number of them (2 Dreadnoughts, 4 Mechs?)

In any case they sound great for Great Generals

Can any one tell me, if I load Next War as a mod (so it is included at the end of the regular epic game) are more turns added into the epic game? Or will I have the same amount of turns and the same end date of 2050?

EDIT: Thanks for the pics...I was not a fan of the idea of futuristic/sci-fi scenarios, but know I am excited to play them all..

In the case of the Cyborgs:

Why give an unit with 1 movement the 'blitz' promotion? Is that because it ignores terrain costs, so that way it can move and attack the same turn?

Yes! That is absolutely right! If there ever was a candidate for offensive Great General units, these are it.

I love Mind Control center - sorta like Drone zones in SMAC.

Btw, have you guys noticed inconsistencies in some screenies? E.g. it says Clones (Worker upgrades) are 50% cheaper for Expansive leaders, but the bonus was reduced for Workers to 25% in epic game.

Also, on mind control effect pane it says it reduces production by 25%, but civ entry says 15%. I hope it is fixed in a patch. :p
