What Civs do you recommend? I like a science game.

I'm currently playing with Augustus, Catherine and Pocatello. But I've just learned that Pocatello seems to leave the land without improvements! Can't have that! The civilopedia doesn't, (I think,) tell you stuff like that!

What do you mean by "leave the land without improvements"? From my experience everything is fine with Pocatello workers

And dressing the question - for science definitely recommend Babylon and Korea. +1 for Babylon for beginners

From what I saw, no farms, no mines, etc.

Maybe you are playing some modded version of the game? In civ 5 Pocatello can definitely build improvements. He's also a nice beginner friendly leader - choosing the ruins and lots a land really help you with your start.

Nope. Well, maybe I made a mistake? I've been playing using him, and the results are definitely odd.
