Post the ones you would like to see. Please keep it to a realistic number. They won't add 16 new civs, so only list 8-10. These are the one's I want to see in the expack:

Mayan Empire
Iroquois Empire
Irish Empire
Scottish Empire
Portugues Empire
Ottoman Empire
Carthaganian Empire
Korean Empire
Babylonian Empire
Dutch Empire

Those 3 sound good. The others... i think I'd Like Babalonian, Mayan, and Italian empires.

There's already the Romans so there's no way there will be an Italian civ.

Vikings are a classic from the previous civ games.

The Babylonians or Assyrians would be good to round out the mid-east cultures.

Zulu would be another good one since we could use another african civ.

the three that we know will be in the expansion are old civs from previous Civilization games, so the new ones could be straight from there. A Mayan civ would be good, and maybe add another Asian civ

Why so? The Romans are totaly different then the midevil and modern Italians.

But they come from the exact same location so if someone was to play the earth map, you couldn't have both of them in the game. Mind you, the same can be said for Gaul and France, unless they change the name from Gaul to Celts.

yea, but the Celts as a culture were pretty much over western Europe and the UK, so the Celtic starting place can be off on one part of the Europe map.

I'd like to see a Pacific Northwest tribe, like the Haida, make into the game this time. I think that culture group has been sadly overlooked in civ games, they had a pretty amazing culture really. Their artwork is simply beautiful and they even formed some fairly large permanent settlements. South/Central America already has 2 civs, and the Northeast has the Americans, so one from that area would round out the Americas nicely.

You could put the Celts pretty much anywhere really. They once stretched all the way from the Black Sea right across Northern and Western Europe.

there is a Native American civs mod though.

I'm not interested in any civ mod, I'm not convinced that it will be as good as something as Firaxis can produce. I want more than just a new trait and a reworked leaderhead. The Firaxis civs also have their own personalities. Maybe when someone has worked with the SDK for awhile, but otherwise I'll stick with what Firaxis provides.

Try a mod, you might like it. I am convinced that some modders put just as much effort as Firaxis, and really try hard to make them great. All I play is mods nowadays.

well, even though Saladin has the same culture type, which is muslim/arabic as the Ottomans, but the two are centuries apart and the Ottomans are more called the Turks, thier empire included modern day Turkey. It could be an interesting culture to use.
