what do you listen to when playing civ3?

if you said own music, what kind? i'm listening to nirvana at the moment. do you find listening to music helps you play better? my only emporer win was listening to rock so loud that my ears were ringing for hours after.

But i dont know if it makes me play any better. Actually i dont think that anything can make me paly better, i suck so bad

I listen to the civ soundtrack, although I find the Modern Age music to be tedious. During the Modern Age I turn the sound down really low and only turn it up for wars.

Most of the time the radio will be on. Good ol' oldies put me to ease. But in the modern ages...the radio's off and I'm playing to the music. It makes it a lot more high-paced. I sped a lot faster when that modern ages music is playing

I got tons of music from jazz to rap to punk to well, everything. If I'm going to listen to music while playing Civ3, I like Sun Ra the best. Don't know why, just seems to fit. Usually I just have the TV going.

Iron Maiden is the most famous HM band but saying that they r the best is an overstatement. Specially being a brazilian u probably know the band Angra which is (or was) way more creative than iron maiden

oh well but i guess its just a matter of preferences, im not gonna argue about that.

The game music is actually not that bad, but it gets kinda repetitive after playing for a couple hours.

I listen to the soundtrack, but it's been getting frightfully boring, with the exception of the Mozart (that's scary because I usually don't like Mozart much).

I'm going to start listening to my own music, probably Brahms or Beethoven.

My own music almost always or nothing. Wife doesn't yell, she's too busy playing EQ . Lately, I'm getting old , it's Van Morrison, Bob Dylan and Dave Matthews.

I like to listen to my local cool jazz station. On Sunday nights they play oldies jazz (Armstrong, Holiday, etc.) That stuff is great to play civ to.

I used to listen to music when I played but anymore I prefer to keep it muted. Fewer destrations, especially when I play on the harder levels.
