I like the layout of the last two better than what you had before. The shadows are still a bit "wrong" and it looks like winter lighting but the buildings are great and the layout is cool 
EDIT: I think post #19 is better than #21. Both look good anyway.

I like it a lot!
First in-game testing. A lot of things will change.
(don't mind the green pixels; palette is not final)
In my view the following are to change:
-City is placed a bit lower vertically (eg 10 pixels or so)
-Shadows will be diminished --particularly on the edge of the city
-Color pattern likely will change a bit to more red or more yellow
Unsure:
-Overall size; smaller or larger?
-Size #1 and walled #1 may not be looking that good.
