The old city hall was a smaller (normal-sized) nondescript building with a bronze bull sculpture in front of the entrance gate. This one did away with the sculpture but the entire roof is in the shape of a bull's horns.

The scale however... :crazyeye:
 
The Australian Capital Territory has no local governent, with local government functions (land rates, municipal services, etc) done by a department of the Territory government.

The Territory and Municipal Services building is a completely anonymous office building on the edge of Canberra which I can only find on Google streetview.

The neiborhood in which I live, it was an independent municipality until 1925, it was having its own city hall

It was demolished in 1957, due to a construction of a tunnels that would improve the entrance to the city.

but several years ago the state governmant forced several local councils to amalgamate because they were seen as to small, so we have 3 local town halls now, and no reduction in rates to reflect any savings
