I have an embargo against the Ottomans, which I am fighting. Does that mean I can't sue for peace? Will I ruin my rep if I sue for a tech or gpt?

I am not sure as I never made one, b ut I would expect it to be a rep hit. You will be breaking a deal, unless the 20 turns have passed.

No, I don't think that will break your rep; a trade embargo refers to hard goods ie. resources.

Is that your zero-science game? How's it going?

Since I only have 7 turns left on the deal I will let it expire naturally.

Yes, this is my zero-science game. Now that I've got RP it's getting rather boring. I think I may start another DG game on a std size map. I don't think I've finished a game in two years.

Time for what I call a potato chip game.

Play as Iros or any military civ. Try to finish the game in an hour. beeline for horseback riding and just kill everything you meet. lots of fun and easy to finish.

Here is one strategy that was posted in the strategy forum along those lines.

It just might get you to finish a game if that is a goal. i call them Potato chip games because they are only a bite in a hurry.
