What is the best hardware for this mod ? I wanna buy new hardware only for this mod, cause in my opinion it is the best game ever was made by mankind. :-) I love it. My hardware is enough that this game works but it lags to much in my opinion. I hope i can finish this time the planet map. I have read the playerguide and turn off the advanced economic setting when i played the new version.
When I play the earth map large and standart in the beginning it loads 1 min, cause there are many K.I. . In the original game beyond the sword wasn´t this a problem for my PC. I couldn´t finish v 36 cause there was always a problem. Mostly it was that i played a small size map in the three planet maps i play on duell size and it is still to big.
I had always advanced econimcs and i think that was the mistake. Finally when i settled this planet map to max that i doesn´t must build new cities i wasn´t able to reach more than the beginning of the industrial era. It was always the same problem that when i click on the next turn button it loadet infinity. Normaly it loads very fast on duell size with max 3 KI but than it loadet infinity. I thought maybe it loads once so long so i decided to load this round the whole night when i was sleeping but next morning it loads still.
This happens 5-6 times so i was never able to finish this game and research the last technologie and must play a new game. Now i don´t play with advanced econimics and it seems to work good. Even with revolution mod on. I love this setting very much and that barbarians getting new civilizations. I play with the setting cities starts with 1 tile but this is a problem, that barbarian cities not grow to size 3 that a new civilization can spawn.
I am a little scared when i get a to big revolution or there are spawning to much new civilization my PC will load the next turn forever again like in the past games.
I am very happy, that i reached now the transhuman era. I have now not settled the map with max cause this is to sick. I research then very fast, but when i have 100 cities or more i must set 5 cities the production every round.
In the late game there is a problem when i set the city produktion and push the shift or ctrl button and click on the units and buildings it looaaads toooo much or when i wanna set the specialist in the cities loads to much ,too. This is very annoying. In this game i have not settled the "duell size" three planets map to max but still that every city have every tile to use and no opponent have a chance to build a new city cause i have everywhere culture :-). When i am settling the lunar map and the mars map i get maybe 42 new cities and have 100 cities again, but i don´t know if my PC is strong enough for this.
To get in the tech three or civilopedia it loads to much in my opinion too.

So what for hardware do i need to enjoy this mod with all settings much KI and the largest planet map size and newest versions of this mod without any lag ?

I am sry for my bad english, it isn´´t my motherlanguages. ^^

"Without any lag" is not possible, I'm afraid. Civ4 is an old game by now, and this mod pushes the engine to the limit. There are improvements that simply cannot be done in a mod, although the modders still manage to improve performance every once in a while. This game cannot use more than 4 GB RAM, that is an engine limitation that cannot be overcome in Civ4. The engine also cannot use more than one core for most tasks (originally it couldn't use more than one core, period), so modern CPUs are out of luck in that regard. So the largest map size is always going to be a problem, and if you want to play beyond Medieval at all, you should probably start using viewports before long (see https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/viewports.468011/).

Don't disable Graphics Paging in the BUG menu.

If you want more information, here is a thread about hardware requirements (a bit old, but should still be mostly correct): https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/c2c-hardware-requirements.510491/

-SSD to install the game on, SSD read/write speed can vary, the faster the better.
-Strong CPU, this is worth spending that extra cash on. dual core is fine for C2C perhaps one of the newer generations (5-7 generation) of Intel i3 CPU. Buy one that is overclock-able It has a K after the number in its model name.
-If you'd rather want an AMD CPU I would reccomend something like this "AMD Athlon X4 880K Black Edition".
-I could also recommend the quad cores found in Intel i5 CPU's as well, C2C doesn't utilize the two extra cores very efficiently, but a quad core is nice to have if you use the comp for other things than C2C.
-The motherboards that begin with a Z like Z170, offers userfriendly software for automatic CPU overclocking, I assume you are not comfortable with manual overclocking.
-6 GB RAM is fine, C2C cannot use anything more than 3GB anyway, but you'd want some extra memory for you operating system and other software that you'll run in the background.
-You could invest in DDR4 RAM, but I think you'll get much more for your money buying the fastest (1800-2400 MHz) DDR3 RAM. DDR4 are faster and use less electricity but have a slower reaction time to CPU requests (So the extra speed won't help much when the software sends many small request to the RAM, I believe C2C mostly sends many small.).
-Make sure that the motherboard supports the RAM speed you get.
-You don't really need a very strong graphics card for this game. get something with ok memory and core speed that has 1GB or more VRAM.

Anything with a reasonable CPU speed is likely going to be enough, particularly if it is somewhat recent. You don't need the latest or the greatest motherboards, graphics cards or a significant amount of ram past 4-8 gigs, and thats with taking windows 10 into consideration. You can even get away with a decent HDD.

Edit:
Bottom line, CPU speed is highest priority followed by ram speed. Nothing else really matters. If you go with a SSD, you will likely burn it out quickly.

However, the above is true if you want the shortest turn times. Civilization 4 is by no means significant these days, however. What holds true for Dwarf Fortress holds true here.

I've been running c2c and OS on an ssd for 5 years now, newer SSD have a longer lifetime than the SSD I use. Just to put some perspective on shoobs statement.
