the thread was about Americas mistakes after ww2.

I had postet in it and i realiced that i should edit my post, so i went back to OF to edit it, but the thread was gone:confused: Was this thread removed? If so why? And why was it not just closed then?

Please explain:)

Some dirty laundry is better hidden, methinks.

Do you mean that a mod removed the thread because it would make America look bad? I doubt that though.

Trolls either are deleated or banned, since that poster is new, it was deleated.

I'm not big on propaganda posts.

No offence but if someone had postet the same thing about China would you have deletet that? Dont take this as an insult AoA it has nothing to do with you, im just questioning what people considder propaganda.

Factual errors presented as a topic lead only to anger.

I scanned the data, some 20% was true, but it was also heavily distorted.

Why did´nt you tell him that instead of just deleting the thread? It could have been an interesting discussion.

Yoda, if someone said Denmark invaded Germany in 1940, would you be interested, or annoyed?

Posted correctly, without the propaganda, it would make an interesting subject for the history forum.

The way it was, it's intention was to annoy Americans, and the last thing we need is more termoil.

I see your point.

Alright, let me change the parameters.
Suppose someone posted that instead of helping the jews of Denmark escape, someone said the Royal family SUPPORTED Hitler in his pogroms, and supported it with web sites and brought in people who agreed and called Denmark evil?

I see your point.
I hope so. ;)

Sorry same answer, since its still not true. People may call Denmark whatever they want its a free country.

Well, not everyone is so understanding. ;)

I was almost positive it would be deleted. I posted in it, then I went back to see if a flame war had erupted, and I knew AoA had struck. ;)

I wonder, when a thread is deleted, are all the posts delted from the poster's post count? Just a random question.

Yes, when deleated, the posts are deducted from your total (and mine, if I posted)
