What happend to the "Nasty Things" thread?

the thread was about Americas mistakes after ww2.

I had postet in it and i realiced that i should edit my post, so i went back to OF to edit it, but the thread was gone Was this thread removed? If so why? And why was it not just closed then?

Please explain

I read that thread (initial post only, at the time), saw it as a troll, and decided not to post. I assumed it would be closed, but not removed.

No offence but if someone had postet the same thing about China would you have deletet that? Dont take this as an insult AoA it has nothing to do with you, im just questioning what people considder propaganda.

I scanned the data, some 20% was true, but it was also heavily distorted.

Yoda, if someone said Denmark invaded Germany in 1940, would you be interested, or annoyed?

Posted correctly, without the propaganda, it would make an interesting subject for the history forum.

The way it was, it's intention was to annoy Americans, and the last thing we need is more termoil.

Suppose someone posted that instead of helping the jews of Denmark escape, someone said the Royal family SUPPORTED Hitler in his pogroms, and supported it with web sites and brought in people who agreed and called Denmark evil?

I was almost positive it would be deleted. I posted in it, then I went back to see if a flame war had erupted, and I knew AoA had struck.

I wonder, when a thread is deleted, are all the posts delted from the poster's post count? Just a random question.

Yes, when deleated, the posts are deducted from your total (and mine, if I posted)
