What instrument can you play??

I've played the piano since I was 5 years old. In high school, I joined the marching band and played the trumpet. I was the first girl in the history of my school to do so. I also sang in my school and church choir.

I'm a rock guitarist. Have been for 35 years.

My keyboard skills are rather less spectacular, though that didn't stop me playing the keyboard and lead guitar parts <u>simultaneously</u> when performing Queen's One Vision in a band I used to be in some years ago. Show off? Me? Yeah!

With all these civ musicians, we could start an awesome band filled with diversity. Actually it would be more like the "Civ Fanatic Phiharmonic." haha

I'm a guitarist too, though not nearly for as long as Storm....only 13 years of playing.

My training is in classical guitar, but I usually play lead guitar or acoustic rhythm for my church band.

I've also been known to double up as bassist/keyboardist/drummer when the need arises

My 11-year old daughter (the one who wants to play drums

) picked up my mom's flute this weekend, and within minutes was actually getting a sound out of it, and before we left, had figured out a couple of different notes. Took my sister 2 weeks just to get a sound out of the mouthpiece. She brought home a fingering chart and intends to teach herself how to play flute-she still intends to play percussion in band next year. She said she wants to learn to play a "load of instruments." She just may do it.
