iv been working on this scenario, and whenever i open it the game says it cant find a, (insert unit name here).ini file for siad unit- mrecenary archer, italian knight etc9 are the two its done it with so far). what is this file and where do i find it because none of the units that come with the game seem to have it, and i've been working on tis scenario for several hours and i'm about ready to go crazy about this.

the INI file is locatet in all the unit folders. It "chooses" what animations the unit will show. If there is a mistake in the ini you get an error message. Its easy to edit btw, works like a notepad file.

Look under Civ3/art/units (or Civ3/PTW/art/units or Civ3/Conquests/art/units if you own these add-ons) - there is a folder for every unit in the game. Each unit has its own ini file in its folder. In the ini you can specify what anims and sounds should be played, and you can set paths so that the game finds the stuff.

If you create an own scn, make sure you use the same folder structure (eg. "your scn/art/units/", then sub-folders under "units" for every unit with the ini files for those units you use)
