What is domination?

I ask this because in my latest game, I was master of a large continent and a couple offshore islands and got the domination win. My rival was master of a small continent. Though with less cities, he was more urbanized and had larger cities.

I KNOW that in Conquests, one needs 66% land AND population to win by domination. Is this true in PTW as well? I don't think I had 66% population...

It's always included the population...

In all versions, the limit was 66% pop/land. Conquests just added an easy feature to figure it all out.

Because the AI builds cities so far apart, if you have 66% of the land you'll have >66% pop too.

No, to two places of decimal 2/3 = 66.67%

Well, for conveinence's sake, 2/3 means 66%. It would be pointless to have the computer compute when you had 66.66666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666...% of the land/population.
