what is needed?

i think that this game could have been made simply without alot of the problems people are having technically. give me civ3 with all the game features of civ4! (just needed to get that out)

of those who have a working game could i get some suggestions of out-of-the-box systems that play this game well i.e. no video issues at all, no long load times, no late game lag. i am especially interested in any laptops that run this game without problems. i have a three year old toshiba laptop and it cannot run this game. i could use an upgrade anyway, and would like suggestions as to what i should buy. a laptop is my preferance. thanks for any info.

Not sure anyone can give you that information. My computer is way above Specs for this game and it has caused me no end of grief.
