Hey, I don't hate Canada. I LOVE Canada for giving me the greatest sport EVER. BUT... Always a but eh? What was with that crap I saw on the news? THE GREAT ONE, Wayne Gretzky, sniveling about "Everybody hates us, nobody likes us, wah wah wah..." The Great One made some mistakes and he is going to feel some heat if Canada doesn't do better. Telling Patrick Roy he had to try out? HA!
Yzerman made the team? Isn't he a little slow for this International ice surface? YZERMAN made the team, where's Thornton?
Pronger in my opinion is the BEST NHL defenseman along with Blake and Foote, call me biased,
, but he looks like a traffic cone out there. I like Gretz, he is after all The Great One. But the whiny teary crap was really pathetic. To the Canadians on this board, don't you think Canada in general is taking it out of hand? I mean, yah hockey is your sport, your lifeblood, but dayam!!! Well hell, Maple Leafs fans are pretty blind in general when it comes to Cup chances and what players will put them over the top. (Gary Roberts anyone?) But people aren't out to get Canada. Things have changed, Gretz made mistakes like I stated earlier, it happens.
