I've checked the civ 3 democracy game forum and ive found nothing. so what exactly is it. it looks interesting.

It's a civ3 game run by civ3 players in a community, basically. It has three important documents (the rules), forums for the citizens, the government, polls, and the Role Playing Game inside the DemoGame. Demo means Democracy, btw. You have to register in the registry thread in the Demogame's main forum to be in the game. You then can vote in polls, try to get involved in the gov., (I'm the Census Leader and the ambassador to Apolyton), register and get involved in the rpg, among other things.

There is a FAQ/info thread in the main section...

I should have said that.

There is one player who is elected to carry out the orders of other elected officials in something called a turn chat. It is very confusing at first, but youll get it. I am only a monht new :)

Hey Dian Wei.

As stated by others, this can be fairly confusing to people just coming on board. I will be posting some links here for you. Just click on them and this will save you the time of searching. This first link will take you to the main Demogame forum (which is dedicated to the overall game and it's instructions). The link is the Frequently Asked Questions.

FAQ

Check back as I will post more links shortly.

Shaitan and eyrei are our Moderators for the Demogame Forum and it's 4 sub-forums. They pretty much handle all the major problems, making sure the game runs smoothly in a logistical manner. They can make rulings from "outside" they game as a Moderator, but by the democratic process, have been allowed to participate as citizens in the game and the RPG portion of the game. Here is a link to Shaitan's thread for game critical links in an index format. This is very helpful.

As stated by the others, when you register as a citizen of the Nation being played in th Demogame (DG), you become "legally" eligible to participate in the discussions and are allowed to vote on the issues discussed. This is the second Demogame (DG2), and the Nation for this game is Fanatika. (DG1 had a Nation called Phoenatica.) As a citizen of Fanatika (we're using the German tribe of the Civ3 game) you'd be eligible to run for office to become a governmental Leader. Each Leader is elected to office for a term of one month. Elections take place at the end of each month.

Quite an interesting question Dian Wei, welcome first of all to the second instalment of the democracy game for civilization III. All the technical answers have been, more or less, given by citizens. So just pull up a chair, enter a subforum, any subforum, read, post and let the adventure comence! :) I'm Ehecatl Atzin, by the way, resident historian and lore master. Go to the government subform, to the history and lore department for a brief review of some of the events that have shaped the life of our nation.
