ing old Civ 2 General Discussion threads, mostly on what we should change the game.txt to to make the AI sound ********. "Withdraw your troops immediately, or I shall send forth my angry pinners to fling dung upon though!" for example.....

HARDMAN was a laugh and a half.....

Oh, and seeing genghisK's picture...man, I was snorting milk out my nose for days at the thought of that one..

With my understanding of how the system works for this site, someone can be logged on as two people at the same time. Even from the same computer. Just have two browser windows open and log on as one on the first and the other on the second. If that was the case, then the IP address that is logged would be the same I believe.

Or they can just have two separate connections open, which would give a different IP address if not using a DSL or cable connection, and use both that way.

I think you can even make both people post messages right next (within seconds) to each other if you wanted to.

I think it was really damn funny when i jokingly suggested that in Civ 3 you should be able to micromanage your cities in a Simcity type view... and that you should be able walk around in them from a 1st Person perspective (like DOOM or Counterstrike) and you could even fight each other multiplayer like that. (This was a light hearted JOKE remember)

And then somebody... I can't even remember who now... Maybe Pedro? no... I don't think so. Xeven? I can't remember. Anyway whomever it was seriously suggested that Civilization have a 1st person view.. in which your character could wander around the countryside going on a series of "quests" or some damn things... Like an RPG... and everyone FLIPPED FRIGGIN OUT!!!! Jesus... there was a lot of name calling going on there for a few days... *grin* I think in the end we all agreed that it could maybe be an "option" in the game. *wicked grin*
