What is the Name of Disk 1 (CD 1)

A while back i bought Civ4 and backed it up onto my external HD using PowerISO.

I then lost CD 1...

Now, the game is still installed on my system but I cannot play it because i get the "Wrong CD" error when i try to start it up.. I mounted CD using PowerISO, but still no luck.

I believe that the Disk Name is the problem, as it did not save when i made the ISO...

By disk name i mean:

If you have the CD version of the game (it has a total of 3 CDs, labeled 1 through 3 and is just "Civilization") could you please put CD1 in your drive and take a screenshot of it and post it?

Or, if you believe that the CD name is not the cause, also let me know. Thanks

Welcome to CFC!

The copy protection will detect that you are running from a mounted image and give the wrong CD message. Unfortunately the only way within the forum rules I can suggest is to buy another copy. I think it is unlikely that you will get a replacement for a lost disc.

Thanks for the info... Shoulda guessed it, as i'm pretty sure i read that somewhere...

From my understanding:

The game checks for some common Virtual Drive programs and if it finds one it shuts down so:
could I burn the image onto a new CD and then uninstall PowerISO?

I would think that the copy protection would be designed to stop that working too. If it was that easy to circumvent it would be no protection at all.
