What Kind of Map/size/speed is best for multiplayer ? We play with 7-8 Players on the biggest map size and at quick pace and there seems to not have anything going on until someone get submarine or even nuclear. Its always about who build quick enough to nuclear launch, every game is like that.

At around 250 turn + on quick pace, we are starting to see some action. How can i get more beakers, how many beakers is possible to reach at 100-150 turn at best ? I seems to always be around 300 at 150 turn, is that low ?.

Quick speed is the speed 95% of all the multiplayer games are played on mostly on Pangea but also other maps

On Quick speed it's possible to be in space at turn 155-170 if playing with good players & Research agreement
best in beakers i had so far was 2176 beakers at Turn 212 on a Continents map with Egypt but in a normal game espect around 1400 beakers afther labs

How ever war does slow down the game a lot as well as Baning Research agreement
here a game with noResearch agreement on turn 163 that makes a joke about your 300 beakers one turn 150 (it was a multiplayer game with war)

Theres probably something im doing wrong, how many city to you build to get that many beakers at 150 turn ? Do you play with abundant resources ?

No we played with strategic balance and thats not even that mouch for turn 150 since it was not a war game

The thing u probobly are doing wrong is that u don't know the Rule of:
:c5citizen: = :c5science:

If u are intrested and u got teamspeak or skipe u can call me there and il give u some tip's
since u are doing many things wrong if u don't see Hubble before Turn 200 on quick speed

here some BENCHMARKS u should try to have:

National college at turn 75 is good
industrial era at turn 130-150 is good
win game at turn 170-200

:c5citizen:
20 population capital at turn 100 is ideal

Wonders go on Turn:
Artemis 23
Pyramids 30
Great library 33
oracle 50
Hanging gardens 55
Notre Dame 60 if rushed

National wonders
National college 75
Ironworks 90

Can u tell what BENCHMARKS your groop normaly has ?

I got teamspeak but im not very good in english. I speak french.

What do you focus on early in the game ? Do you concentrate your reseach on one side of the research tree to clinb faster ?

EDIT: We never really checked benchmarks, what do you mean by benchmarks ? I am only at about 100 hours into the game, Still have alot to learn.

I do concentrate my reseach on what i think help's me to get ahead in demo's
for 4 City Tradition on landmaps the tech Path is the folowing:
pottery
luxtechs
philosophy for NC
rest of ancient techs
metalcasting
education (education before metalcasting is suicide)
acustics (if Rationalismus is not banned)
scientific theory
oxfort-->radio (for Ideology)
plasitics
atomic theorie (if i wan't to nuke somone)
stealth (there is no counter to stealth Bombers)

Are you playing with mod and nq map? Because regular BNW and maps cant compete stats with these settings. Everything goes faster under mod/nq map(large map with still small map research speed, buffed policies, etc.)

NQ maps are somewhat ''similar'', i.e. with no large range of mountains, no weird shapes and always a possibility for coastal civs to rush Navigation for islands around. They also have great tiles values compared to regular maps(more rivers, food and hammer tiles). You can settle far more cities, making Liberty a great choice in almost any cases.

Although i play many of my games with the NQ mod the stuf i posted was for a normal land based map with out the mod

the benchmarks i posted were not for the NQ mod or NQ map even though the picture is from a mod/map game since it was the fastest one to finde from arount that turn

thats actualy not true since the combination of Rationalismus rush,20-25Research agreement tech boost's,saving great scientist leed's to mouch faster games then with the NQ mod (u can go to space at turn 155 with out the mod)
the reason why the NQ mod feels faster though for most of the players playing it is that a tech get's cheaper if techt by other players so if u have other good players in the game they speed up your game that way so the game does go faster the better the players are. And therefore games with good players go faster, but if the same players play with out the mod they wil be in space by turn 155 if they use spies and Research agreement's correctly
NQ maps are somewhat ''similar'', i.e. with no large range of mountains, no weird shapes and always a possibility for coastal civs to rush Navigation for islands around
thats the reason i wrote Landmaps since forcing all costal Players to rush navigation and bank up gold for upgrading since the ondly counter to frigates is more frigates and that slows down the tech game a lot
