What Leader combinations and paths are most thematically interesting for arriving at America?

While it’s technically possible to combine any starting civ with any Leader and and unlock America through gameplay, certain stacks/pathways stick out as more historically appropriate and thematically flavorful than others.
I’ve listed out a few below. My first America game will definitely be the United States of America stack, but some of the others intrigue me as well.

Do you plan to choose pathways through the game based on their historical appropriateness, or will you chase merely what’s mechanically most advantageous?
