What maps are used when setting maptype to random?

Does anyone know for sure?

I have a good guess but am not sure. I'm also wondering if it's possible to create your own random map script where you can set from which types is chosen.

My last game randomly gave me a Ring map.

Actually, looking at it again, I think it was just a Pangaea with a humongous lake in the middle. The Ring map gives a different description.

I think all map types are available except "Earth"

Also, the ring has 5 city states in the middle and countries on each sides of the map (Corners, North, West, etc).

I'm pretty sure it's not all map types. There's many 'weird' maps I've never seen, like Ring or Donut.
