I recently played a game that included my first use of nuclear weapons before I actually won the game. After I won (by spaceship), I decided to explore nuclear conquest. I set all my cities on ICBMs, then just started bombing a nation that I wasn't too happy with. Eventually, all that settled out, but I had bombed China so much that it was covered in pollution. With all that pollution, global warming got so out of hand that every single tile of arable land had turned to desert. I then saved up my nukes for 50 or so turns until I had 100, then nuked every enemy city on the planet. Then I used some modern armor to scrape off the surviving zombies. Here's the save files. They're for Vanilla, Civ 3.
The first file, "Before Nukes", is before the first use of nuclear weapons, just so you can see what the world was like before it got irradiate. The second, "100 nukes to launch", has all 100 ICBM's ready to launch, with the desertified planet. The third, "Post Alpacalypse", is after all the zombies were eradicated.
This game also happens to have been my first occasion to be on the recieving end of a nuke. After launching my 100, the French shot their 5 ICBMs at me. Meh.
