What rate would you give in the menu's music?

There IS a laughably bad Star Wars TBS game that came out back in I think 1995...dammit, I can't remember what it's called...anyone help me out here?

I would have voted EVIL. I hated it when I first heard it. Really really cheap "world" music.

But somehow it gets stuck in my head. The tune pops out of nowhere and tells me I need to go back to playing CIV4. Ahhgrr! there it is again:

We have kids playing drummers and this music is perfect. Everyone who has heard it seems to love it, and keep asking me where i got it from. I wasn't sure whether to lie or tell the truth.

I think that the song is great. It sounds very uplifting as far as the melody goes. Plus we're listening to the music of someone else's culture which makes it even better.
To take it a step further, I find that the music in the game is very in tune with what is actually going on in the game. This is very good attention to detail on Firaxis' part.

I'd love to hear someone explain how calling Swahili a degenerate language isn't racist. If that's what you're doing...

As for the Intro music, I gave it a 4. It's well produced, but I don't like the tune or the singing as it happens - too cheesy. There's loads better world music out there. The bespoke music is rather dire - I've actually replaced some of it with stuff from Civ 3. The moody intro for C3C was much more my cup of tea.
