what should I do now?

I am the Turkey at the beginning of the game (emporer level), there are about four other civils on the continent so far as I know. The Hittis demanded gold from me and I refused them, and they declared war to me.

I used extra tech to ask Arabs to join me to fight Hittis, and there are 11 turns left for the alliance. But I saw six archers coming to one of my boarder city which has only 1 spearsman defending.

If I ask for peace with Hittis they would agree, but then I will lose reputation at this early stage of the game. if i don't ask for peace, i would probably lose my city. and my military strength is not very strong. So what should I do?

Although a screenshot or something would be nice (troop shuffling), I think you probably should build offensive units and retake the city, it sounds lost anyway.

Abandon the city and withdraw your Spearmen to defend your more important towns. That town isn't a huge loss -- it's newly founded and not even connected to the road network yet. Your rep is much more important than a size 1 town.

You can try to gift it to another weak nation and invade them later to get it back.

thanks for help. actually, i played one more turn and moved my archer toward one of their cities, and something strange happened. they withdrew all of their forces back. anyone could explain this? does AI know that only one archer should not be regarded as a serious danger?

A successful diversionary move! Threaten them with that unit - now move more units into your border city!

Well, if you have more units that is..... I'm a little unsure about the fate of that city but a continuation of this tale would be amusing

Keep waltzing around their city (next turn, move the archer NW or W). They will continue to take their army away for just one lone unit. If you can do that, build up your army in your cities so when they come back, you will be defended, and you can sign peace.

By the way: you have lots of plains with rivers. Irrigate them! If you can do that, it's like having a grassland mined on every tile. Good for growth and production.

Get a road to that city as fast as you can to increase unit flow.

thank you for all the helps. I kept moving the archer around their city and they did followed it. fortunately, the Arabs's warrior and spearman were also around so they fought with each other.

I built more defensive unit in my boarder cities, and also rushed walls in them. So I could be able to defend my city with several spearmans against their swordsman.

As you could see, I don't have iron in my territery, so my next target was to take the city which was very near to the iron resource.

the Arabs built the city above that city before me so I lost the chance to get the iron.

however, the Hittis destroyed Arab's city and the iron again became ownerless.

so finally I used my horseman and archers to take the city, but it was also destroyed. So i built a settler and built a city near the iron resource to get the iron. I signed peace with Hittis after get the iron, which has exceeded the alliance time with Arabs. that's the end of this story!

the following picture is just what my current game looks like. It's been a long time since I got the iron, and Arabs and i became the strongest nations in the continent. Hittis was reduced to only three cities so I don't care them anymore. you could see that I am ready to take Arab's capital with my knights. Friendship no more!!

by the way, I did not irrigate all the plains, instead I mined them to get
extra production. The reason is that I was the first to get philosophy
and so that I got a scientific leader, and i rushed to get the Pyramid.
this way i don't need irrigate all the plains to get the population to grow.

this is the best start for my emporer level game...i've never won an emporer game yet...hope this is the one!
