Man, I'm running into some major writer's block with my pedia entires. They're probably the main reason I haven't released any version of my mod in the past months lol. No one will know what's going on without them though "what's a Unigov?". So tough to say just the right words that'll express all the facts you want to say but also keep it neat and organized and professional-sounding and dramatic. So now before I break down and hire a writer I decided to post this thread so that it might give me a little inspiration.

Chronological style (seen in vanilla civ): America was first settled by nomads going across the Bering Strait. Then Columbus discovered it. Then it declared independence. Then it got big after WWII. Now it has W. Bush. What does the future hold?

Factoid Style: Name: United States
Founded: July 4, 1776
Government: Federal Republic
Population: 299,102,661

Kipedia style: Well here's the quick summary about the US. Here's where it's located. This is what its economy is like. And this is what its government is like. And here's what its culture is like. And here's what its climate is like.

Dramatic Narrative(FFH style): And thus, I stared at the piece of parchment in great satisfaction. Despite Franklin's protest, I was confident the amendment about not having to give free room & board to mooching soldiers would stand relevant and essential to the upstanding of our free democracy for centuries to come, and that it was not part of my latest attempt to kick my 25-year-old son Tyrell out of the nest. Sally is enabling this behavior I swear it. ~Thomas Jefferson
