What to do if C3B declared war on us ?

Lately, CFC - C3B have been "tense". It is perceivable that the CFC galley in C3B waters has made the situation so explosive that C3B declared war and attacked.

If that is the case; how should we respond ?

- Let's assume they disbanded the warrior that would be the victim of our JT's for a Golden Age...

And if they haven't declared war; shall we do it next turn ?

We should delay the war until Forbidden Palace is completed, which will give us the necessary momentum to reach a war economy, with Golden Age Bonuses needed to send the troops into battle. So hold the guns for 4 turns if possible, then launch the Dogs of War.

If C3B disbands the Warrior, then we should try to get into position to time our JT attack with the completion of our FP. We should also use as much gold as possible to upgrade our obsolete units. Last, we should use the Catapult plan on approaching C3B ships to keep them from landing troops on our shores.

I think that was insult to the honored poultry of the world. The Brazucans are less worth than salmonella infested poultry subject to flame combustion by the Veterinarian Authority of our continent, which is us.

I think I sense some anti-C3B feelings here... ;)

Regarding war, I think we should get all of our ancient cavalry and horsemen together and prepare for a march (or trot) to their cities. Should we get workers to begin the road of death to C3B?

If they declare we'll go for the CoG plan with as many units as possible and the rest will see what to do, depending on where the C3B forces go... at least some troops should go into the no-mans land to act as cannon fodder (not good) and distraction from the CoG ships possibly pulling their immos down south to where they are little use.

I will send the cavalry North if c3b attacks.

If they attack us, it will be in a large invasion well planned out. They will this we are out of it after their first attack fails, then we make our move. We would do the CoG plan while they are bulding the second wave. We win then or at lest stop a counter attack any time soon.

:hmm: Could you add a few connecting words please?

OK, I think instead of asking "What do we do if they attack us?" we should be asking "How do we provoke them to attack us?" Conveniently I have a plan...

I would like to call it.... Operation Hamburger Hill.

I look at that Mountain Fortress they've made and I laugh at it. HA HA HA. They have basically took a large majority of there standing army and basically camped it out in one spot for us to conveniently monitor. How nice of them.

We need not worry about this mountain force but determine how we could use it to our benefit. I suggest the following.

We move 1 veteran spearman, 1 worker, 2 javelin throwers, 1 settler and all our fast units north. By boat if need be to expedite there movement.

We then move the worker and the spearman to the tile directly west of there pretty mountain fortress. We leave the 2 javelin throwers on the hill our cav is currently on. We also leave the settler on the boat and the cavalry out of sight of the mountain. (In the forest sw of the hill our cavalry is currently on.)

Now 1 of 2 things is going to happen....

1.) They won't like us building a road and will attack the spearman and the worker immediately. This will leave 1 immortal or more in the open. We then counter attack with 1 or 2 javelin throwers..... We will get the war happiness and both teams will get there golden age. If they leave more than one immortal in open ground... we attack with calvary... .... We then only attack c3b while they are in the open and use the war happiness and golden age to expedite building a larger army to attack later through the marshlands on the east.

2.) They won't attack cause like we aren't invading there territory and they are chicken hearted fools. We then move the settler to the hill after the road is complete. (We might want to use 2 workers to finish it in one turn but its not necessary) We build a city next turn. We then move all our cavalry into the city and prepare to assault Sao Luis the following turn by using the road and thus negating the fortress. They could leave units in the open area between the road and sao luis .... What a great opportunity to use the calvary without attacking fortifications.

This plan would make C3B look like the aggressors and would allow us to attack c3b with minimal exposure to the immortals on the mountain.

We have had and still have an opportunity to trigger our own GA while denying the Golden Age to C3B. This certainly outweights the other options. Compared to the GA benefits, war happiness is a very minor issue as well as who attacks who. IMO, both nations have the war hysteria on the top notch and are ready to kill each other. If they are in Golden Age and are being attacked, it is certainly to our advantage since they will be losing productive cities and improvements during their GA.
