What to do with my old Nintendo 8 bits?

Wow! American currency? Grrreat! :goodjob: Do you want me to put my car in the deal? 20-30 american dollars will buy me a mansion over here!
I don't have any games left. I gave them to my cousins when I was playing with my SuperNES and I tought the NES was passé.
What a dumb mistake to make...

Place it up upon the mantle and cherish it for all time. You could also take it to a local gaming store and have it fixed, that way you can pass it on to your grandchildren and they can use it to get on antiques roadshow.

Dude, you can hide your, you know, in there... :smoke:

(All because of that one Saturday Night Live skit, that's the first response I think of whenever anyone asks what they can do with a useless object)

Fix it up and hold on to it. When your grandkids come along an antique like that could fetch thousands. Or even millions. Depends on inflation. The point is, it'll accumulate a great deal of value over the decades. When you're rockin' the chair in the nursing home it may even bring some sentimental value.

Heck, I live in Ottawa. You can mail it here if you're still not convinced. Name a price.

Buy a new console like game cube and cram it's parts in the old wormbox.

Fix it if possible!!

Buy Godzilla 2 if you can find it. Excellent strategy game.

Our (yes plural) NES would not turn on because of some problem to where the power would not function properly in the system. Basically it couldn't turn on. In order to get our NES working I had to hit both sides of it and viola it solved the power problem.

How much is an old NES worth nowdays anyways? I picked my one up for $7US.

Just blow on the cartridges. It should work fine. (sometimes you have to push them in really hard) ;)

Ya, I am gonna have to say, "sell it, keep it". Then "sell it" for much money . . .

And try to get some games for it, those will be worth a bunch too in like 50 years . . .

Hell, put it on an internet page, and Ill buy it. :)

so true

contra is a diabolical game :devil2:

double dragon was awesome, and so was mega man. But my advice is to keep it as a memento, don't play it. Your memories of it are always better than the game itself.
