With R&F out in a few days, what will you be doing to ensure that the days pass by a lot quicker, so that you don't have to wait so long?

I've been reading more about Rise and Fall, trying to plan strategies and considering whether I should change my first game from Korea to Mapuche or the Dutch :) Trying to read up more about the wonders and new policies too. Trying to plan out which civ/governor combinations would be nice.

Other than that, watching Star Trek Discovery, and listening to podcasts like 99 percent invisible and others.

I just bought a book on Chinggis Khaan that I hadn't read before so I'll get a start on that. :)

Can't wait to play the Mongols again!

Working, trying to finish my Germany game (having a blitzkrieg against Khmer empire, but they have many suzerains near me so it's a total war of attrition... fun),
enjoying the fact that I took friday off from work (I'm an enterpreneur) so I can totally immerse into Rise and Fall!

Gotta admit I've been thinking about first game opening moves in my head a lot. :)

I'm going to hospital tomorrow morning, probably for a week or so. Hoped to do it earlier, but just finished fighting bureaucracy. My personal release will be a bit later :(

I am sorry to hear that. I hope everything will be alright and I hope for a speedy recovery for you.

I started a huge island plates map as Indonesia, I expect it will take some time to complete.

Going ti sign up for my flat, struggling with bureaucracy and moving issues, finishing my plan to have enough wifi the day it will come (my internet will not be operationnal before next week), working, playing Vox Populi modded civ V...
And the hint and FL for the Zulus today and tomorrow will add a nice comma in the week in waiting ^^

Contemplating whether or not to play as Dutch for my first game. I want to build polders, but I also want to play AGAINST Wilhelmina to hear her go mental over something trivial. (I'll be damned if I play with duplicate leaders, so that won't happen).
Took 4 days off for 'carnaval' from work, so I can spend half a week on R&F. Seems only fitting to play as Brazil vs all the other Catholic countries to crown Prince Carnaval, come to think of it :D

Nothing over the next few days, but I have booked Friday as working from home so that I can stay up later to play on Thursday and start playing earlier on Friday! Priorities, right? :mischief:

In fairness it's nice to have a day off from the gruelling 90-minute-each-way commute...

I've just moved, so there's plenty of cleaning & unpacking before Thursday... And also Carnaval's beginning!! I'll probably start a game or two, but mostly I'll be on the street dancing & drinking until next Tuesday :P

I read a people's history of the U.S by Howrd Zinn, it's fascinating and very instructive on what kind of politician was Teddy R...

I still have an XCOM 2 campaign to complete. Should keep me busy when I'm not working.
Thursday and Friday are free and I can start my Cree game right after midnight (if it's unlocked by then).

I'm lucky that I mainly work from home and can generally plan when to do work to suit myself, so basically I'm going to work like a dog for the next couple of days and get ahead of the curve, then I can hopefully play R&F for the rest of week :)
