What's the best part of a SCENARIO?

And don't you forget it, Phenix!

So, are you gonna give your already-done-review of Modern Age to the new CivFan review league? <IMG SRC="http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/groucho-marx.gif" border=0>

Huh? Huh?

Exile
The format is incorrect for the reviews here.
Besides, if you ever finish V2.0

I'd rather review that.

hmmm...AoA, I'm not going to send you a copy of "Birth of America" until you kiss your wife and thank her for putting up with Civfanatics...I'm lucky, I'm already divorced, so it's civmania around here.

My production this summer should only be hampered by the fact that I have to finish a term paper from the Spring sememster, but no worry...I've got 5 good pages already (it'll be a 20 page paper so no big deal).

Finally, I want you to know that I tend to write scenarios that break a number of these "guidelines" for what I think are good reasons related to game play because the scenarios and modpacks I design are often unconventional (sort of a quirk with sci-fi scenarios).

I'd like to let everyone toknow that there will never be a hard, solid formula to writing a scenario--it's most important requirement is imagination.

Fair enough Chris. I've got Modern Age 2.0 finished, but can't get a response from the European Civ2 Site where I usually put the things or from the Spanish Civ2 Site either. If you want a copy, let me know and I'll send it to you. The Dracula scenario is also finished, but might not be the kind of scenario you usually like--it's been called "quirky." Also, the Age of War scenario is in the playtest stage right now, but I can send you a copy of that if you want it.

Salutations,
Exile

Send all three, you know where.

Also, do you consider "American empire" finished? If so, I'll add it to my review list.
Jay Bee has lost internet service for at least the last week, two weeks now, I think, so the Spanih Site is out for now.
Why not submit them here? Civfanatics excepts scenarios, and since we are turning this into a better SL (You will see, very soon

), then the exsisting one, why not?
In fact, you should submit all your scenarios here.

I know where my bread is buttered, no worries.

In fact, I'm waiting on you and Exile to send some things.
Exile, the things I mentioned earlier.
And you JV, the next installment of "Generations".

I also submitted the guidlines and Staff page to TF, so we should see it soon.

UNITS!!!! units are definaltly the key!

Second is the distibution of cities.

Third is the accuccy of the map.

Units are the key..can't have too many and they have to be accurate and function in the game well.

That's an interesting fact, Dreadnought...

So how many units would be too many? The question revolves around, does the number of units or the types of units in number make the difference.

I would also think that it would depend on the type of scenario for this too...but fewer units to start with may be funner to play as you would "build" your units...That's the funnest part to me...to be able to build something that no one else has (yet) and then stomp the other civs.
