Still in the top 200!!
I'm keen to have a look at this but not sure about the stuff I have to download to get in - I use a works computer so have to be careful about what ends up on my hard drive. Will the software take up loads of room on the drive?

No, it won't, although I'm not sure how your work's security will deal with the program needed.

Someone else will be able to tell you what the situation is with the room and a firewall, but I do know that I have to disable my firewall at home to get it to function. As such, it may not work for you at work.

Do you dial in, or are you on a network with always-on access? If it's the former you'll probably be OK. If the latter, it could be a bit tricky.

There are probably two issues. Firstly, it may well just not work. Secondly, if it did, it could get you into trouble - depending on how 'flexible' your boss is.

EDIT: You may find that your contract, or, more likely, your firm's computer and technology code of conduct, prohibits you from participating in realtime chats. I know mine does. :)

Or you can just click on the java link (beside the upload file one in the chain of links betw the ad banners below). ;) No need to DL anything, or config anything. :)

Come to the chatroom; sometimes it's pretty fun and gossipy. Hehe. :D

I can access it through my work firewall or my firewall at home!
It isnt possible to access it without CT being there. ;)
I think she spends 24/7 on-line!

Er, only if I were able to shout loud enough for other posters to be able to hear me from their own homes :p

hehe.. I'm usually "on" 24/7, but just to log things. You never know when a spammer is going to appear in the middle of the night...

It can be, um... (how shall I put it? ;)), "entertaining" when Gonzo comes. :D

Mostly it's just full of those awful Civ3 demogame people... :D

I'm very adept at logging on, saying 'hello', then doing bugger all and logging off again a quarter of an hour later. :D

If there is a long 'chat' about the demo game, then I dont hang around. Sometimes there are just a few people hanging out. Then its more interesting

Thats my main tactic :) Oh and Rodger I still can't hear you, shout louder!

it can get a bit confusing we never take our stuff to the demogame room but no matter i have been there a few times when CT wasnt there and then when she leaves and a few select posters are there stuff starts to happen
