What's the Heaviest Treasure Fleet You've Had?

You would have needed 6 rural tiles. I count 2 buildings to get to the top chocolate (one temple, one granary, no need to be efficient and fill the quarters since it won't ever be used as a city). With the quai next to the city, you would need only one fishing boat to reach the sugar.
Ah yes, I don't know why I was thinking at the tile with the Saw Pit, 1 SW, and still getting the Pearl.
This island was the very first I discovered (coming from the north-west) and settled, and I think I'd seen that there was an hostile IP village nearby and my ship was at the mercy of a single Archer shot so I healed it and didn't explore more south, so I haven't seen that Sugar initially.
But I did get another Settlement on the actual Distant Land continent with 5 Resources, that has become a thrilling City, and get to, what... 49 Treasure Fleet points total, so it didn't really matter.

i believe mine was 4. Ive been close to 5 a number of times. Seeing those AI cities full of them makes them very juicy targets

I was working on a 5'r, but Isabella settled close to my city. I had to burn it down. By the time I got my 5 resources hooked up the age was ending anyways. But I was determined anyways. I was t'd the AI messed up my 5 treasure fleet point city.
Wait, is that how it works? The size of the haul is proportional to the number of qualifying resources in the city radius?

That would explain why I kept turning in my fleets for 1 point apiece: each originating city had only 1 Treasure Fleet Resource in its radius.

Just landed this gorgeous 6-pointer:
