I was bored and searching amazon.com and came across Civilization 2: Fantastic Worlds. Anyone played this expansion? They have some used copies for sale. I really don't remember this. Is it worth it?

Um, I said Amazon.com...not ebay. And I know Sir William Harcourt is a figure in history, but I am not sure what for. Was he a liberal politician or something?

FW includes a bunch of scenarios.

If you're just interested in scenario-compability, there's a patch DL'able on this site that makes original CivII compatible with FW scenarios.

What version do you have now? If you have MGE, there will be little point in buying, unless the MGE AI bothers you greatly. If you have classic, FW is pretty much a must to be able to play any civ2 scenarios.

FW is better than v. 2.42 if you don't have MGE. More unit slots and tech slots.
