What's up with Hotmail?

I've not been able to get onto the site, let alone log-in - have tried Opera and IE

P.S. Is it true that Hotmail weren't always owned by MS?

Yes, Hotmail wasn't owned at one time by Microsoft.

It does seem to go down sometimes.

I rarely experienced any log-in problems with IE.

I've been able to enter it all week, no problem there, and surprise! they increased my inbox limit to 250mb!

Works for me, but i have mine going through outlook, I don't actually go to hotmail.com.

use the yahooo email and just use hotmail as a junk cause this happens oh too often

@LLXerxes:I use yahoo as junk and hotmail for MSNBC news alerts and MSN Google stock Alerts(used to be my junk mail but I it has changed purpose). Gmail is my personal account for personal and for signing up to trusted websites

They are both free and both have their problems... If you use either regularily you would probably tend to find that they work reasonably well. Hotmail will occasionally be slow and will sometimes be difficult to transfer files on it but it'll usually let me see what mail I have received...
