And even if it did, he falls back way too late.

If that clip was in slow-mo, than the flying guy would be too fast to notice.

Good point. I think that's realy about a half second of footage, so when you see it in the movie it's just a quick shot in an action sequence.

Actually the guy in the background is Boba Fett flying out of control to what should have been his death. (there is a series of books that has him survive, but whatever)

Either someone dropped the Boom Mic, or it's just annother part of the fight. (perhaps annother guard/trooper?)
