What's wrong with you China?

During the next 100 turns I found out that I had to search cartography to reach the other landmasses, something that happenned around turn 220 as I recall.

Isn't 220 a bit late on standard speed to be making first contact? For cultural its best to make contact and establish open borders with everyone asap as it gives you many more turns for your tourism to erode their culture.

Many months ago I thought that, now its not worth the enegry... the accumulated early tourism of 100 turns is not even worth 1 turn with computers running.

Grow your centre for 100 turns like any victory with some dimonation or not. Then spam out the theatres and get the trade routes going external instead of internal as you near computers or get decent tourism going in the hundreds

So as I understand we get a boost to culture when advancing era or is it just a tech or both? Also: is there a possibility of something affecting ONLY culture gained through eurekas?

I try to understand what result is that 23000 points on domestic tourism and I came up to this: the jump is 23K in just one turn when the culture per turn is 280, but after that the number of domestic tourism becomes stable again rising 2-3 points per turn. So China got a boost somewhere at x1000 to its per turn earning on domestic tourism, is there a way that is that is the meaning of a 100% to tourism?

So to be methodical: (and damn it I am really really bad at maths)

First we have to find if the boost is on eras or techs. Or both.
Then we'll have to put down our numbers to find out what is that something that is being multiplied with x100 or x1000 (which is practical the same if you don't get the decimal into count).
Third thing is that we have to keep in mind that maybe we have two different boosts that in case of tech tree advance to a new era confuse us.

I ll keep my mind what happens when I advance eras and track it down. Is there something out about a culture boost at advnacing eras?

Yeap its very late, but the first 100 turns are a fierce combat with other 2 AI, and after that I don't have coastal connection to other landmasses and I have to reach cartography, I might have a mod that adjusts the tech tree but I cannot recall if it's on or off cause I tested them and them a lot of them went off...

The Moon Landing provides culter equal to 10x your current science output when completed. Maybe they launched that?

I am guessing its when you progress to the next era whether that be via science or culture... to be fair all 3 of ours were through science but they all included a Civx has moved to a new era message and it makes sense to get some extra culture when moving eras. A bit like an era bonus in Civ V.

Exactly what this value is could be tricky to work out

Turn 196 - 3000 culture jump - Modern to atomic - 97 culture per turn
Turn 205 - 4700 culture jump - Modern to atomic - 146 culture per turn
Turn 306 - 23000 culture jump - Modern to atomic - 297 culture per turn

For that larger difference assuming it is a single occurrence it must include the turn as well.

So it's probably not even close to related, but I figured I'd pop in and mention that when I played Civ V for a cultural victory, when there was only one civ to go, when it was "Rising (3 turns)" it at once swapped to "Slowly Rising" for a few turns before going back to normal. Figured it might (slim chance) be related to this bug.

Turn 128- 690 culture jump - Classical to Medeval - 23.2 culture per turn

I want from 23 DT to 28

I ll keep up until we ll have enough numbers...
