strict definitions of color regard the type of light they reflect. White reflects all colors, black reflects none. Other looser definitions call white and black 'shades' -- along with all greys in between.

So when it comes down to it, the only true colors are the primary colors, the rest are mixes of the primaries.

Black and White aren't in the color spectrum, also. But I'm not going to get into that, wavelengths and stuff.

well duh :rolleyes: I think just about everyone knows that but with the scientic definition aside a color is still a color! I mean what elses are you going to call black :crazyeyes

common english language has made them colors because of lack of better and more known words.
