What strategy do you follow playing CIV III Deity game? How do you think is It possible to reach 100000 cultural pts?Or 20000cultural points in a city? Or Is it easier to conquer everyone?

Share your strategy with others!!!

-Choose archiapelgo, islands are easier to defend
-Dont **** with your neighbours (unless they are weak)
-Make the AI civs fight each other
-When you have few nukes, then you can destroy your enemies :ak47: :rocket:

Make the AI civs fight each other
The great part of the tactics I have now is diplomacy , I do anything to make them fight each other and develop their science slower

interesting, it might work, but i use complete different strategy.... and i think my strategy is similar to what most other deity players use.

1. dense build. expand fast, and very very fast.
2. DO **** w/ your neighbors, and as early as possible. ie, as soon as you are strong enough to wage a war.

there are many cool deity strategies on the forum, might want to check them out. this is kind of a big question you ask.

Here's a few tips on Deity,

Deity is usually won by diplomacy or spaceship.
Don't bother with great wonders unless you have a great leader.
Don't bother with science research unless you have a reason, put a single scientist in a non-productive city, set science rate at zero and buy techs from AI civs, act like a day trader, trade everything from maps, Rops, communications to techs, luxuries and resources.
Contact AI Civs every few turns, don't miss the oppurtunity to get techs cheap.
Micromanage your cities and lux rate.
Expand fast and expand smart, build a granary in starting city if it has no wheat, cow or flooded plain squares. Set up several core cities around the capital and race to luxury spots ASAP.
Trigger the golden age at the right time, it's best used for infrastructure push in core cities, make sure you have at least a monarchy government.
If an AI Civ demands tirbute, it's a good idea to yield.
Early war is actually a good thing, as AI doesn't understand how to fight an effective war, just make sure you are ready for the war and have friends willing to help you, friends can be bought by techs or money:D

i agree w/ most of it. except that i think conquest or domination is also a very feasible win at deity level. however, early war is very important for this type of win.
