When do we start razing cities instead of capturing them ?

Our win-goal is conquest; killing all enemies. A problem with reaching conquest is that Domination kicks in earlier, if we capture all cities. At some point in time we need to raze cities to stop ourselves from winning on Domination.

If we start razing early enough; we can still keep some cities later on which are useful to us (Wonder cities or cities which are strategically located or cities which can give our nation luxuries).

I think we should capture Egypt and England and then start razing (nearly) all cities we capture next. When do you think we should start razing ?

I think we should start razing after the conquest of England. England has only 3.9% of the world's landmass, so it won't add much to our total. After that, we'll have roughly 55% of the world's landmass, which would be a good number after which to start razing almost every city we get our hands on (and we'd still have some flexibility to take cities when necessary).

As MIA Head, I was thinking somewhere along the lines of 50 myself. We would, of course, keep great wonder cities and other strategic ones. I also feel that not all of England should be kept, but only a few cities on the coast to ensure the use of silks.

After we take our part of the world, AND the needed (3-4) Zulu cities. Then we start razing. I'd like to spare the cities with the wonders though, just for the sake of having them.
