When is the next patch out?

Is there any news on when the next patch is out? Im still having annoying lockups and im hoping they can fix this mess once and for all.

Never; Sid is working on is new project "the Bank&ATM" this game will be on just paying and getting nothing...

come on Sid is not the 'company'... some one must be working on some patch cause its obvious that there is too many probs/bugs left...
will it reach Civilizatio 4 edition 2

I sure hope so. Although the game is quite good and the bugs a nuissance at best, having the video memory leak issue fixed would be nice. Anyone knows when patch 1.x (>1.52) will be released?

Please check very carefully hardware specs for the game. I have lost count of the number of people who believe they are in spec (or not checked), and do not have a video card. On-board graphics (IGP) do not have dedicated video RAM (it steals it from main system RAM), nor do they have dedicated video processors. Civ IV needs hardware T&L support

The fact that it may have run on V1.09 is no indicator, when V 1.52 was released lots of this kind of issue appeared because more work had been placed on video cards (which IGPs dont have) so they crashed.

fair enough Zydor, but my specs are as followed:

P4 3.0GHz
1 GB RAM
Saphire ATI Radeon 9600 128MB -> yes with the new catalyst drivers

So I KNOW I'm above the minimal requirements and well within the recommended ones.

Although point taken about hardware requirements, a lot of people do seem to be below.

So my comment stands: when is firaxis going to patch the video memory leak that most of the people on this board have?
