Hey everyone. I'm a new Civ player with Civ IV and was wondering if you all could afford me some help.
First is, about what time should I be considering founding my first, second, etc.. additional cities, and what penalties can I take for doing it to early or late?
Also, I tend to play a very economical game. This encludes dedicating my research and construction time to lots of wonders. Will that be practical towards the end? Also, how easy is it to get out of a war by diplomatic solutions? If I am sitting ontop of enough gold, would I be able to just pay them off?
