Like the title says, when people are ready, I am prime for a game of Diplomacy. I have only done FtF, but I think I can learn PBEM. Doesn't sound any more difficult. I like playing Turkey most of all. Hmmm, what else? Well, any suggestions?

Diplomacy isn't chess or track; the title of "best dipper" is elusive and subjective at. . . well, at best.

It is beyond elusive. Diplomacy is a game based on everything real grand strategy is based on execpt military training. Of those things, luck is a part... not a huge part but large enough that every once in awhile a Bush beats a Bismarck. And if you get two Bushes that like one another (how could they not?) they'll beat that Bismarck even more often. So "Best Civdipper" is sort of a hollow title. At least, for me it is. Besides, if you get that name, you're screwed in your next 2-3 games, as everyone goes after you to prevent you from using your "Best Civdipper" superpowers on them.

Ok, the rules are the same, except the game doesn't end in 1914, but continues until a winner (or draw) is found.

Three way draws then go to the person with the highest amout of SCs. And ties, well, if they are exactly tied, then it is resonable to say that both are really talented. I will give more info soon.

@elbagocrap: there is a version of diplomacy that takes all the neutral supply centers and makes them owned by someone
