So Hall of Famers, when will you be leaving III for IV?

EDIT: I'm just trying to get some guess at how fast traffic will decrease here in III and switch over to the next Hall of Fame.

Not that I'm responsible for much traffic around here anyway, but I was the other one who voted #2 so far. I'm determined to finish one last milkrun before trying out IV. I guess I'll buy it around christmas time.

I haven't even got conquests yet. I've been looking at the screenshots, I don't think it looks like something I want, but my opinion might change. So you might know what I mean, another game I really liked was Railroad Tycoon. The first was straight overhead like the first Civ. Then came Railroad Tycoon 2 and it was on the slant (isometric) like Civ2 and it still was true to the original, although there was more. Civ3 kept the view but railroad tycoon went to 3-d and I never got it. It just did not look like the conversion to a more "realistic" view justified the loss of clarity. Now I may certainly be wrong about Civ 4, but I'm not paying more than $25 for a computer game, no matter how great it is, especially one I need to buy a new computer to play.

Voted for #2. Althought, it would probably be after #4, too. No point until I learn the game and they have gotten all the major issues resolved.

As soon as possible really. Havent had much time to dedicate to it for a while, however I found I couldnt get any better at the type of games I enjoy and got frustrated by devoting 30/40 hours or so and realising I wasnt going to better myself, and therefore starting again.

well the patch will be out before the game hits the local stores back here anyway.... so I have plenty of time to improve my poor histo -score.

Haven't built The Cure for Civholism yet, and IV is on my list to santa.

I voted #5 (that # key is just WRONG on these Ozzy keyboards!), though it looks like we'll get it slightly later in the UK. Still, shouldn't be long after I get back from this holiday .
