Where are the buttons?

I don't know if this is a bug or frequently asked question.

The Conquest manual details some new "buttons" that are available to speed up play.

Examples - automate clear jungle button
They show that you can rename a unit with a button that reads "ABC" it's pictured in the manual.

Where are these buttons?

Is this a Preference I can't find?

Please help.

I'd like to utilize some of these.

I can't seen to automate a Worker to keep clearing jungle...

Please help

Go into Preferences.

Top right, second item: Show Advanced Unit Action Buttons.

And the automation command is Clear Wetlands, which will clear both Jungle and Marsh.

Upon getting home from work, I followed the directions to utilize these advanced buttons...

It did not work.

Will it only work for new games AFTER I change the preference?

Also, what is the NEW keyboard command to Automate a worker to clear Jungle/wetlands for more than one square....
