where are the maps for ffh2 ?

hi,
maybe im just blind, but i cant find any ffh2 specific maps.
i wonder, people are discussing the ups and downs of that mod and me cant even start a good game with all races. o.O
did i miss something ? i would really like to play this mod not just for testing purpose.

Since FFH is a mod and not a scenario, it's not a must for it to include a scenario map. This said, there are some modders that created some scenarios, but often they are not up to date with the last version. Check the scenario forum.

Half the fun is finding a map type you like to play and going Random all the way. As onedreamer said, there are scenarios out there, but since FFH2 is ever evolving it's tough to say whether old scenarios are updated with the newly added mechanics.

ok, thank you, ill try it out. so far i ve tried different civ4 maps, but for some reason even 18civ maps only start with 4 or 5 ffh civs (tho i can select all 18 on startup). weird.

The default (aka: "recommended") amount of civs per map size is lower in FfH than vanilla. The reason we did that is to leave more of the world open for exploration and wilderness. As you noted you can increase the amount of players, but in my opinion its a better game with the recommend amount per map size.
